Our umpires are a key stakeholder in the success of Shady Hills Little League. As the old saying goes "without umpires, it's just practice." This rings true each and every time our children take the field to play in a ball game. Shady Hills Little League offers a variety of umpire rewards programs that encourage and reward every volunteer umpire for getting involved. Umpires play an important role in keeping the game fair, on time, and fun for all of children within the program. 

Any volunteer that umpires a minimum of 5 games will receive a free t-shirt with a custom umpire design! Any volunteer umpiring more that 10 games will receive a free dry-fit t-shirt with a custom umpire design! Any volunteer umpiring 20 or more games during a Spring season will receive $150.00 in Umpire Gear purchased by the league! That's right...you volunteer and we will reward you with your own umpire equipment!
